We send professionals to carefully remove cabinets, countertops, appliances, sinks, toilets and more for donation and resale at either our Cornelius or Mooresville ReStore. This service for a low administrative fee of $200 when items are donated to Our Towns Habitat--a fraction of what you might pay a contractor, who would demolish the items and send them on to the landfill.
Your donated items are also tax-deductible, so you'll save in two different ways! Please consult your tax professional for advise on deducting in-kind contributions.
Our Towns Habitat for Humanity ReStores accept donations of new and gently used household fixtures, furniture, decor and other household items. Donations are resold to the public, with proceeds helping Our Towns Habitat's build safe, affordable housing.
