Salvage Program

The Salvage program saves property owners on demolition costs associated with a remodel, while also supporting Our Towns Habitat for Humanity’s affordable housing programs.

How it works

We sends professionals to carefully extract and remove cabinets, countertops, toilets, sinks and more at no cost to you, provided these items are donated to our Habitat ReStores. Proceeds from the resale of salvaged items will go toward building affordable homes in our local community.

The Benefits

  • Offsets remodeling costs
  • Recycles materials vs. filling up landfills
  • Donated items are tax deductible
  • Supports the building of local, affordable homes

Who is Eligible

Property owners in North Mecklenburg and Iredell counties who are renovating kitchens, bathrooms, etc.
