Acceptable Donation Items

Our Towns Habitat for Humanity operates two Habitat ReStores, in Cornelius and Mooresville. Habitat ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores offering new and gently used furniture, appliances, home decor, building supplies and more.

Donated items are resold to the public at prices significantly less than retail, offering savings to shoppers, with all proceeds supporting decent, affordable housing in our community. The Habitat ReStore model helps keep once-loved items with plently of usable life left out of the landfills.

Shopping at our ReStores benefits you, our community and our environment!

Cabinets

Remodeling your kitchen? Be sure to check the Cornelius ReStore and the Mooresville ReStore for new or used cabinets. Both locations sell cabinets for use in the kitchen, garage, laundry room, etc. The Our Towns Salvage Program provides a great opportunity if you’re looking to have your existing cabinets carefully removed and donated to Habitat for Humanity, and gives an excellent set of cabinets a second chance in your home.
