VOLUNTEER
If you are interested in volunteering in the area of construction,
please read the construction guidelines before coming out
to a site. We currently work Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00
a.m. until 12 noon, and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00
p.m.
Please schedule your volunteer time with a Volunteer Coordinator
before coming to the site.
Saturday workdays begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. The house
leader will introduce homeowners, talk about tasks for the
day, assign work to volunteers, and review safety procedures.
Lunch time varies. Typically it’s between 12:00 noon
and 12:30 p.m. Individuals and groups are responsible for
their own lunches. Volunteers occasionally provide lunches,
and the volunteer coordinator will let you know if lunch
will be provided.
