Transform communities.
Neighborhood Revitalization is Our Towns Habitat’s way of reconnecting with the HFHI mission to serve more families by expanding the ways we approach the issue of affordable housing. Neighborhood Revitalization repair projects address health and safety issues in owner-occupied homes in Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, and Mooresville.
Families can partner with Neighborhood Revitalization to repair their homes while meeting the traditional standards of the Habitat for Humanity program
-
The need for adequate housing
-
The ability to pay for a repair
-
The willingness to partner with Habitat

OTHFH's First Neighborhood Revitalization Project
Our very first Neighborhood Revitalization Project was for Mattie Caldwell, Cornelius. Mattie was a 92 years young lady who needed some help repairing her home. She was a resident of Cornelius for over 30 years.
Mattie's roof was failing, her side porch and handicap ramp were unusable. Our team of volunteers went in and in less than three weeks not only replaced her roof, porch and ramp but did minor repairs and landscaping!

Volunteer for Neighborhood Revitalization
Since the addition of our Neighborhood Revitalization Program, the need for volunteers has grown tremendously. In addition to the weekly volunteers needed for New Home Builds, we need 15 - 30 volunteers per Neighborhood Revitalization Project.
