*$20 donation at the door to benefit Our Towns Habitat
Please join in with the Chamber of Commerce and Our Towns Habitat For Humanity to provide a
house in 2012 for a deserving local family. Fundraising is under way to support construction.
Project leaders are Kevin Mahl (Champion Tire and Wheel), the 2011 chairman of the
Community Affairs Division of the Chamber Board of Directors, and Kevin Pote,
Wells Fargo’s business banking manager for Lake Norman region. Both these
individuals are calling for your support for and participation in Business Build 2012!
A Habitat home sponsorship is $71,500. To start off, Wells Fargo has stepped up BIG,
pledging $50,000. Thirty thousand dollars is the initial direct funding;
the remaining $20,000 will be funded by matched contributions.
