Paul Latten, Board President
Paul is the Director of Business Development at Consolidated Fibers. In addition to his service to OTHFH Board of Directors he also serves on our Family Services Committee. Paul has been instrumental in our home visit process and family selections process. He has also served on our volunteer construction team. Paul and his wife Sherry and their children (Morgan, Cameron and Grant) live in Huntersville. They attend Mecklenburg Community Church. Paul enjoys spending time with his family, carpentry, martial arts and gold. In his leisure time, Paul is involved in the Blythe Elementary Leadership Team, initiated and refurbished the Blythe multipurpose room panels, serves as the Org and Board Effectiveness Consultant with the Neighborhood Good Samaritan Center, warehouse volunteer for Second Harvest Food Bank, built a 2-story storage building for Woodlawn School and served on the CMS Principle Selection Committees.

Juan Lozano, VP of Families
Currently employed with Bank of America, Juan Lozano has had experience with Habitat for Humanity for several years. He has been a house leader, volunteer coordinator, part of the Bank of America's HFH Leadership team, traveled with Hugh McColl throughout the country and into Mexico to advocate for Habitat, he has served on the Jimmy Carter Works Project and in Operation Home Delivery. Juan is currently a homeowner recruiter by serving on OTHFH Family Selections committee and and is on the Work Place Giving Division for the Resource Development Team. In his spare time he travels yearly to Sea Island Habitat with a group of Christian men known as the Building Brothers. Juan and his wife Jenelle are members of Kings of Kings Family Church in Huntersville.

Brian MacLeod, VP of Resource Development
Brian has volunteered at OTHFH construction for 5 years as well as serving on the Board of Directors. Since 2008,he served has the project lead for the Lowe's Build. He is currently the Chair for OTHFH Resource Development Team. Brian, his wife Lori and their 2 children (Amy and Claire) live in Mooresville. Brian works at Lowe's in Mooresville and spends additional time volunteering for Junior Achievement, Barium Springs Home for Children and he is a basketball coach in Mooresville. In his spare time, Brian enjoys martial arts, bicycling and motorcycle riding.

Stan Dyl, Treasurer-Finance Committee Chair
After joining OTHFH Board of Directors, Stan immediately recruited a brand new sponsor - Women of NASCAR. Women of NASCAR is raising $71,500 to build a new home for a deserving family. In addition to his work with Habitat for Humanity, Stan also serves on the Endowment Committee for Davidson United Methodist Church and is Treasurer for the Lake Norman Children's Relief. Stan is currently the President of Davidson Capital. He and his wife Sherry and their 2 children (Shelby and Rachel) attend Davidson United Methodist Church. In his spare time Stan enjoys reading, skiing, tennis, traveling and soccer.

Alexa Haselhorst, Co-Secretary, Youth/Campus Chapters
Alexa joined OTHFH in July 2008. Since then she has served on various committees and is currently serving on the Development Team. In 2009 Alexa made her first Global Village trip to Guatemala. She is fluent in Spanish and has been extremely helpful with interpretations for our friends from Guatemala. Alexa has been an advisor for the North Meck High School Habitat Chapter of Youth United and worked on the 2008 Youth United Build. She and her husband Tim are members of Life Fellowship Church. They have 1 child together. Alexa enjoys traveling to Hispanic speaking countries and scrapbooking.

Todd Williamson, Co-Secretary, HOA-GV Team Leader
Todd has been dedicated to the mission of Habitat for Humanity for years. So dedicated that the tattooed the Habitat for Humanity logo on his shoulder. The tattoo is not only statement of his personal commitment, it is a symbol of hope and a tool of motivation. Todd has been in the medical industry for over 11 years and served in the US Navy for six years. He and his wife are members of St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville and have 2 children Amy and Samantha. In addition to his service to OTHFH he is a Religious Education facilitator, a member of Knights of Columbus, he volunteers at the Soup Kitchen and for Operation Lamb. Overall, he puts in over 400 volunteer hours a year.

Lynn Harriman, Interfaith/Resource Development Committee
Lynn, V.P. of Sales for Coldwell Banker United Realtors, is long time OTHFH volunteer. She has taken the lead for the past several years for our Tastes of Habitat project for Women Build and with Youth United's Habitat for the Holidays. Her efforts have been instrumental to the success of the growth of both of those 2 programs. In addition, she has volunteers for our Interfaith Build. Lynn is on the Mt. Zion UMC Missions Committee for Habitat, Chairwoman of the MacAuley Social Committee, Golf Chair for Breast Cancer Research, and is a member of the McAulay Carriage House Completion Committee. Lynn and her husband Harry have 3 children Alicia, Laurie and Richard and are members of Mount Zion United Methodist Church.

Susan Irvin, Real Estate Attorney/Land
Susan, an attorney, has been instrumental in OTHFH quest to open a second ReStore in Mooresville. She lead us through the stacks of legal documents that accompany a lease and the negotiations for the final product. In addition to her work on the new ReStore, she also serves on the land committee, construction crew and is a legal advisor for our new ReHabitat program. Susan and her husband Robert have 3 children - Robert, Tommy and Michael. They attend Davidson United Methodist Church. She loves to hike, swim, paint and spend time with her family.

Cheri Thebeau, Real Estate Attorney
Cheri (A.K.A. The Biggest Cheese in Town 2010!) has agreed to further her commitment to OTHFH by serving on the Board of Directors. She recently helped our team work on a huge project in Family Services and of course lead our efforts during our most recent fundraising event. Cheri is an attorney in Cornelius and has had her own firm, Thebeau & Associates, PA, since May of 2003. She and her husband Steve are members of St. Mark's Catholic Church and have 2 kids, Brooklin and Matthew. Cheri enjoys boating, tennis and other outdoor activities.

Tim Brown, Land Committee
Tim Brown is a landscape architect and planner with over 24 years of public sector planning professional experience in some of the fastest growing communities in North Carolina and among the most desirable communities to live in the Southeast. Tim has served from 1996 to 2001 as the Planning Director and Assistant Town Manager of Cornelius, and most recently, from 2001 to 2011, he served as the Planning Director of Mooresville. In addition to serving on the Our Town’s Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors beginning in July 2011, Tim serves as an Ex-Officio member of the Community Housing Development Corporation of Mooresville-South Iredell Board of Directors. Tim has worked extensively in land acquisition and development, local community development initiatives, managing affordable housing rehabilitation projects, and in municipal zoning and comprehensive planning in North Mecklenburg and south Iredell Counties. Tim is a 1979 graduate of North Carolina State University in Environmental Design, Landscape Architecture and received a Masters in Geography in Community Planning from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2002. Besides being a Rotarian and a Scoutmaster, Tim is married and has three children.

Sam Chewning
Samuel J. Chewning, MD, MBA, joined OTHFH Board of Directors on July 1, 2010. He is a spine surgeon with Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine Associates. He has been with that group since completing his residency in 1984. Sam has worked with HFH for over 2 decades. He currently leads on the framing and roofing teams for OTHFH. Sam and his wife Cindy live in Cornelius and have 3 kids, Kelly, Kristin and Jennifer. He and Cindy are members of St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Davidson. In his spare time, Sam enjoys wood working, flying, white water sports, caving and motorcycle adventure touring.
